Enjoy lake life, up north outings and a family friendly small town. This spacious home is located just 2 blocks from the beach and downtown, boasts a wonderful wrap around porch, updated kitchen, loft area, 3 parking spaces, fire pit and corn hole.
The fun filled beach area has tennis courts, basketball, playground and picnic tables. Main street offers shopping, dining and a movie theatre. House is conveniently located to: GLEF, Traverse City, Torch Lake, Charlevoix, golf courses & vineyards
Space for everyone with our open floor plan includes living room, sitting room, dining room, study and kitchen on the first floor. The second floor has 3 bedrooms all with queen beds and one includes a sitting area with a futon and TV. The third floor is a loft area with 4 twin beds and TV area with another futon, giving additional sleeping options or just an area for kids to hang out.
You will have full access to our home other than several locked closets that store extra linens and towels.

Visiting Elk Rapids is like stepping back in time! You can easily walk or bike every where and kids can be on their own enjoying some freedom in a very safe environment. Relax at night and take in a beautiful lake sunset on the beach. Everyone loves this hidden gem, nestled perfectly between so many different up north attractions and larger towns if you like to explore!
We have a driveway and 2 spots outside of our home for parking. We are 2 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks to downtown with shopping and restaurants. Many popular up north towns are close by including Torch Lake, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Mackinac Island, as well as great hiking trails at Sleeping Bear Dunes.
If you are an equestrian, you can't find a better location for the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival held in June, July, August and September. An easy 15 minute drive will get you to the show with no traffic! We rent Sunday to Sunday to accommodate the show schedule!

Elk Rapids is a small town neighborhood and has noise, pet, firework etc rules that can result in fines when not followed. You may be fined for violating any provision of the Fireworks, Noise or other Ordinances.
ER noise policy: Please be cognizant of the neighborhood character and subsequent noise you’re making in the Village. Quiet time is between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. including but not limited to playing loud music and yelling.
