ABOUT THE COTTAGES ☀️
Conveniently located in Hillsboro, NH on Franklin Pierce Lake! The Rustic Retreat and The Quaint Cottage provide the perfect vacation experience without the commute, traffic jams, or lines of the Lakes Region and White Mountains. It’s a place to kick back, completely relax, spend quality time with family or friends, and enjoy. Out of respect for neighbors, though, this is not a place for parties.
The property has 50 feet of private waterfront with a 50 foot dock and raft with direct access to Franklin Pierce Lake. Launch your boat at the boat launch around the corner and dock your boat for the week!

Bring the kids to the basketball hoop and playground a short walk down the street at Manahan Park. In the cottages are games for all ages. In the waterfront shed you will find DVDs and books to enjoy throughout your stay.
Each cottage has a private parking area. ONLY two vehicles per cottage allowed on the property. Day parking for guests is limited but welcome upon request.
On the beach you will find, beach loungers, picnic table and Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Please put everything you use back in the original place after use.
THE RUSTIC RETREAT🛶
The Rustic Retreat comfortably sleeps 4 people. Open-concept living and kitchen space is fully equipped and includes a cozy dining area. Through the French doors the living space opens up to a grand outdoor screened in porch with comfortable outdoor furniture and additional dining space overlooking the lake. The cottage has two cozy bedrooms and 1 bathroom. One bedroom with a Posturepedic King bed and the second bedroom with two twin beds. Upgraded WiFi and flat screen (Roku and HD for streaming) and DVD player but no cable TV. There is also no washer/dryer but there’s a laundromat nearby.
THE QUAINT COTTAGE 🌻
The Quaint Cottage comfortably sleeps 4 people. Open-concept living and kitchen space is fully equipped and includes a cozy dining area. The cottage is set back 20 ft from the Rustic Retreat and has a screened in porch overlooking the lake. The cottage has two cozy bedrooms and 1 bathroom. One bedroom with a memory foam queen bedroom and the second bedroom with two twin beds. Upgraded WiFi and flat screen (Roku and HD for streaming) and DVD player but no cable TV. There is also no washer/dryer but there’s a laundromat nearby.

In the SUMMER☀️ you can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hiking, and more. Bring your own boat and dock it on our 50 foot dock! Also we are just minutes from golfing, hiking trails, and historic sites.
In the FALL 🍁enjoy spectacular foliage as you hike and bike at nearby trails. Enjoy New Hampshire fairs and festivals, antique shopping and maple syrup tasting.
In the WINTER ❄️you are just minutes from main snowmobiling trails and ski mountains featuring over 100 ski trails, night skiing, terrain parks, tubing, etc. The lake and surrounding areas provide excellent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Bring your snow machines!
In the SPRING 🌷 enjoy fishing, hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails or just sit back and relax with a good book. It’s very quiet on the lake this time of the year.

⭐️Please leave used sheets on the beds so they can be stripped and washed after checkout.
⭐️Please try and conserve towel use by reusing towels if possible. Used towels should be left in the bathroom on the floor before checkout.
⭐️Please take all food out of the fridge and freezer and please make sure all garbage is disposed of prior to leaving. Each cottage has a garbage can.
⭐️Dishes should be washed and put away before leaving.
⭐️Dogs and cats are not allowed in or on the property.
⭐️There is absolutely no smoking. This is a non-smoking property including outside. You will be charged an increase in cleaning fee, and you will be charged for any damages.
⭐️There are absolutely NO PARTIES ALLOWED or you will be asked to leave the property immediately.
⭐️There are NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.
