Cardinal Crest is a newly updated cabin tucked away in the woods and a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of prep space, a large great room with tons of natural light, a wood-burning fireplace, and large bedrooms. Step outside to the screened porch or deck to grill or relax in the hot tub. A great place for families or small groups of friends!
The cabin includes:
- Large living area with wood-burning fireplace
- 4 spacious bedrooms (king, 2 queens , and 2 bunk twin beds)
- 3 bathrooms
- Fully stocked kitchen with all the comforts of home
- Large deck and covered porch for grilling and relaxing
- Smart TV where you can quickly sign in to your favorite streaming service
- AT&T WiFi to stream movies and hold video calls
Outside you'll find:
- Brand new hot tub!
- Deck & propane grill
We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
Beyond the cabin itself, you'll have access to all the amenities in the Coolfont cabin community, including:
- Tennis and basketball courts
- Rec field and "tot lot"
- Private hiking trails that head right into the mountains of the Cacapon State Park
Please Note: While the neighborhood community does have a pool, unfortunately, it is not available for use by Blue Maple guests. While the pool is off-limits, we're happy to recommend nearby swimming spots, parks, or other fun local attractions if you're looking to cool off or relax!
Please note: You're renting a cabin in the woods—part of the charm is being surrounded by nature! That said, internet access can be spotty at times due to our remote location. We recommend downloading any important content ahead of time and taking this opportunity to unplug, relax, and enjoy the peaceful setting!
Please note: There are two sets of bunk beds in one of the bedrooms, and the cabin can easily sleep 10 people. If you have a larger group including young children, please message us and we can likely accommodate you at this property, or another one nearby.
Beyond Coolfont, there's plenty to do just a short drive away:
- Love the outdoors? Berkeley Springs State Park is home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times. The park is renowned for its warm spring water, which flows at a constant temperature of 74.3 degrees. (10 min drive away)
- A little further away is Cacapon State Park a 6,000 + acre nature park great for hiking and exploring (about 25 minutes away)
- Looking for good restaurants & shopping? A short drive to Berkeley Springs Brewery, wineries, tea room, cafes, donut shop, art galleries - lots of local favorites
- In the summer, head out for a day of fishing, hiking, a round of golf, or get on the water – you'll find a little something for everyone (about 20 mins away)
