This rental does not have air-conditioning. Ceiling fans and traditional adobe walls create a cool indoor climate in the summer.
THE LOCATION
Your Taos getaway offers a quiet setting out of town, giving you a wonderful sense of privacy and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Yet despite the secluded setting, you're 11 miles from Taos Plaza and 12 miles from the ski area. Located in the center of Taos, this historic plaza is home to galleries, boutiques, and popular local eateries.
Drive 20 minutes to visit the historic adobe settlement of Taos Pueblo. Also within a 20-minute drive, the 900'-deep Rio Grande Gorge is worth a visit for epic views of the canyon and river below. Picnic areas surrounding the gorge offer a perfect spot for lunch. The luxurious Ojo Caliente spa is less than an hours' drive away.
