The Experience:
Cozy up fireside, below the stars and amidst the evergreens. Harvest Trail Lodge is a spacious private family cabin nestled on an acre of land in the heart of the Adirondacks in Lake Placid, New York.
Many attractions are nearby, and only a 5 minute car ride (or a quick bike ride, or walk - under 2 miles) to the village; Main Street, the Olympic Speed Skating Oval and Olympic Arena, Shopping, Golf, Spas, Award Winning Restaurants, and Craft Breweries, Mirror Lake and Lake Placid. The Lodge is nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle so you can rest, relax and rejuvenate at a moments notice after a day of adventure and exploration.
From the Lodge, you are conveniently located close to the Olympic Ski Jumps, Olympic Training Center, Lake Placid Horse Show Grounds, Swedish Hill Winery, and coming soon - a local brewery Big Slide, for the Craft Beer lovers! Nature Trails are abundant providing breathtaking views, adventure, endless exploration, and hiking! Craig Wood Golf Course is also nearby.
The Lodge sleeps 6. Property amenities include a jacuzzi tub off the Master Suite, 2 1/2 baths, two levels of living space, two fully functioning wood burning wood stoves, a year-round seasonal screened porch, 2 outdoor decks with chairs, and a patio. A large back deck is above ground, with a BBQ Grill, and rustic Adirondack chairs for resting. A spacious backyard lined with a fence and Evergreens, provides privacy, a Fire Pit perfect for Smore’s, Roasting Marshmallows, and sipping a nice glass of wine/craft beer/beverage of choice! A walking path is accessible right from the backyard that enables access to walk/run to the historic John Brown Farm, and/or a local favorite hiking spot, Henry’s Woods. The property is landscaped nicely with various planting beds, Apple Trees, evergreens, birch and maple trees and a semi-circle driveway that provides ample space for guests.

The maximum occupancy for our home under the local short-term rental ordinance (and insurance policy) is 6. If you exceed this number we will ask you to leave without refund.
All daytime guests must be pre-approved by us as the village of Lake Placid short-term rental enforcement has a maximum daytime guest policy.
