Welcome to our cozy A- frame cabin! Set back in the woods of Sunapee, this classic A-frame cabin offers peace and solitude while still only being minutes from Mt. Sunapee Ski Resort, Sunapee Harbor, downtown New London, and other treasures in the region. The ideal location for a winter wonderland vacation!
The space
Each room is designed to provide maximum coziness for an idyllic NH weekend. Starting with the living room when you walk in, there are two comfortable couches, rocking chair, game table (complete with many board games), and stoned fireplace. *NOTE: The fireplace is currently for decorative purposes only.*
Off the living room is an eat-in-kitchen with a farmhouse sink, and stainless steel microwave, oven, and refrigerator. The large table fits 7 people for a sit-down meal comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils, spices, and plates/bowls/silverware. Everything you need to whip up a big family breakfast before hitting the slopes! *NOTE: There is no dishwasher in the kitchen.*
Down the hallway there are two bedroom (both with queen beds) and one full bath. Both bedroom are quite spacious and have a surplus of blankets for a good night sleep. The bathroom has a washer and dryer for guest use.
The third bedroom is a loft, accessed from the living room. This is a kids dream! Climb up a ships ladder (not suitable for young kids), and there are two trundle beds. Kids can have their own sleeping quarters here with 4 single beds. *NOTE: The loft is not fully walled off and noise from the living room and kitchen can travel up to the loft. There is a banister with a gate at the top of the ladder- young kids are not permitted in the loft area.*
The cabin is set on an acre of private, wooded land! Enjoy the peacefulness while rocking on the front porch or playing on the swings. There is a fire pit in front which is perfect for night time after a long day on the slopes.
Our cabin is private and set back- a car with 4-wheel drive is necessary in the winter months to access it (especially when it is snowy/icy).
Lastly, our cabin in the woods is... well, a cabin in the woods! Its rustic nature is what we love so much about spending time there. Please anticipate though the elements that a cabin in this setting can come with- squeaks and creaks, and the occasional furry friend. I'm happy to answer any questions about what to expect!
Guest access
As our guests you will have access to the entire cabin and property. The only buildings on the property that are not permitted access to our guests are the barn and the shed in the back.
