The perfect place for families or large groups to gather in a stunning mountain setting! Tucked away on Mount Evans in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, this house is the perfect base camp for hiking, biking, fishing and skiing — or just relaxing all day in front of the fireplace.
The house was completed in 2021, with brand new appliances and comfortable accommodations for up to 10 people. The main floor features a large, well-stocked kitchen, a dining room with a view of the pine trees, and a cozy living room with a fireplace and TV. Cook in the kitchen, or grill on the spacious deck and sit in the Adirondack chairs, then hang out around the fire pit on the stone-paved patio under the stars!
The master bedroom on the second floor includes a king-size bed, private bathroom and large windows, so you can wake up and take in a view of the mountains. A second bedroom on the floor includes a queen-sized bed, and the sleeping loft on the third floor includes two bunk beds and a queen-sized bed. There is also a sleeping den on the main floor with a daybed behind custom barn doors.
The house has Dish satellite TV and high-speed CenturyLink wifi, powerful enough for streaming or working remotely. There is a washer and a dryer, both new, and a new gas grill on the deck.
Located about an hour and 15 minutes’ drive from the Denver Airport, and 45 minutes from Downtown Denver.
You’ll be close to plenty of activities and attractions: Evergreen Lake, with tons of options like hiking, golfing, boating and ice skating, is a 25-minute drive. Just beyond the lake is Downtown Evergreen, with fine dining, art galleries, coffee shops, boutiques. Or head about 25 minutes north to Idaho Springs, with more restaurants, breweries and shopping.
Echo Mountain, an affordable, family-friendly ski area is less than a mile away from the house. Take a leisurely hike through nearby Elk Meadow Park with the whole family, or head into the mountains for something more challenging.
