A secluded, mountainside luxury retreat in Andover, Vermont. 15 minutes to Bromley, Magic, and Okemo Mountains. Downtown Ludlow with dining and shops also only 15 minutes away. Dogs welcome with a $100 pet fee per pup (two dogs max).
The Stone Ridge farmhouse is up a very steep driveway, which provides for seclusion and some of the best views around. Four wheel drive is strongly recommended. Although we have great views of a beautiful pond, it does reside on our neighbor's property and is not available for guest use.
Have a four-legged friend? They are totally welcome with an additional $100 pet fee. Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along when you make your reservation.
Stone Ridge Farmhouse is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.
Per our listing, we have a six person maximum in this house. Unauthorized overnight guests will be charged $500 per person per night.
We do not allow parties, events or loud noise. Any violation of these rules will incur a $500 fine.
Guests may use the indoor wood stove if they certify that they will do so safely and will be responsible for any damage due to its use or misuse.
WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY: The owners urge all guests to use The Stone Ridge Farmhouse'sfeatures, facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, lofts and appliances are done at the guests sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the fire pit agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guest hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.
Guests will have access to the entire house - including laundry - except for the locked master closet. There is also a detached garage at the foot of our driveway, which is not for guest use.
Also to note, while the neighboring pond does offer some great views from our property - including our front porch - it does not reside within our property lines and therefore is not for guest use.
Welcome to the Stone Ridge Farmhouse! We designed every corner of this space to provide a peaceful, luxury getaway for families and groups who want a true Vermont experience. Overlooking Bromley and neighboring mountains, the house features a modern, open-concept kitchen with gas range, high-end appliances and cookware, and both a kitchen island and dining table that seats six, wood-burning stove, high speed fiber optic internet, automatic generator, office space for two, recently renovated bathrooms, including main floor bathroom with soaking tub, Apple TV, outdoor shower, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, Breeo firepit, Weber charcoal grill, and some of the best sunsets in Vermont!

* All surfaces and linens are sanitized between each stay.
* Bed pillows can be removed at the guest's request, if you prefer to bring your own.

4 Wheel or All Wheel Drive is strongly recommended to get to Stone Ridge Farmhouse in the summer and REQUIRED in winter. We have a very steep driveway which can be difficult even in the best conditions.
