If your desired dates are unavailable, or if you have a large group, we have 2 other properties: ALLEGAN ORCHARDS (sleeps 25 - VRBO#1203831) & ALLEGAN FIELDS (sleeps 24 VRBO#931668). All 3 properties sleep 67 guests in total & have virtually the same amenities. ACRES & FIELDS are just around the corner from each other, & less than 5 minutes from ORCHARDS. ORCHARDS is the property most suitable for large weddings & events.

Local area includes Saugatuck & Douglas ("Art Coast of MI"), an award-winning travel destination: restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutique shopping, antiques, art galleries, groceries, museums, theater, live music, historic sights, golf, tennis, boating & water sports, fishing, hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, day spas, med spas, & so much more! 10-15 minutes to Lake MI beaches & sand dunes.

THE HOUSE:
You will find that this property offers every amenity one could desire from a vacation rental, & much more. This gorgeous 4,000 square foot house is tastefully decorated with an eclectic blend of rustic antiques & modern furniture. Featuring hardwood floors throughout, dual zone central A/C (one up & one on main floor), & dimmers on almost every light switch. Large open kitchen with huge island counter, private outdoor in-ground heated pool (see house rules re: pool heat fees), outdoor hot tub (open year-round), 2 wood-burning indoor fireplaces, outdoor fire pit, dining seating for 18 (for both inside & outside), a library with marble surround faux fireplace & filled with books, variable zone volume controlled stereo/audio system with speakers throughout the interior & exterior, high speed wireless internet, and 2 55" large flat screen SMART TV's. You will find the finished basement to be a gaming paradise which features a pool & ping pong table, game table, stereo speakers, 55" flat screen SMART TV, and bar.
THE OUTDOOR SPACE:
On the 3-acre, beautifully landscaped property, you can choose from taking a dip in the large in-ground outdoor concrete heated swimming pool (see house rules re: pool heat fees) , soaking in the six-person hot tub (open year-round), lounging around the pool deck, grilling out on our gas grill (propane provided) and dining al fresco - all within the complete privacy of the 6-foot cedar fence. There are plenty of pool chairs, rafts, noodles and both traditional and 'zero-gravity' pool loungers. Beyond the fence, an additional acre of trees and lawn includes a large pea gravel fire pit with adirondack chairs for bonfires, a hammock, and plenty of space for lawn games.
THE BEDROOMS:
The PRIMARY SUITE, located on the main/ground floor, sleeps 2 on its king bed. It has a beautiful pool/backyard view and french doors leading out to the patio. There is also a large en-suite primary bath with walk-in shower, large soaking bathtub, and marble vanity. The room has a very large walk-in closet, ceiling fan, and is furnished with 2 bedside tables with reading lamps.
The LIBRARY BEDROOM, located on the main/ground floor, sleeps 2 on its queen sleeper sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress. It has a view of the front yard, gorgeous custom mahogany bookshelves filled with books and molding/trim, it's own french doors with privacy blinds, a closet, writing desk & chair, large upholstered reading chair, and marble surround faux fireplace (non-functional).
The NORTH UPSTAIRS BEDROOM sleeps 2 on its bed with queen mattress. It is equipped with remote controlled ceiling fans and lighting, large closets, bedside tables with reading lamps, and sitting chair. There is also an additional large closet/room with its own door which includes a reading light and small wood crib ideal for 1 infant. There is enough room in this closet to move around even with the crib and a chair.
The UPSTAIRS BUNK BED ROOM sleeps 2 on its twin bunk bed (1 upper twin mattress & 1 lower twin mattress), fan, bedside table, closet, and reading light.
The SOUTH UPSTAIRS BEDROOM sleeps 2, and is similar to the north upstairs bedroom. It has all of the same features, with the exception of the additional closet with crib, but is a bit larger.
The BASEMENT BEDROOM sleeps 4 on its queen size mattress and twin bunk bed (1 upper twin mattress & 1 lower twin mattress). This room is a "partially finished" room located in the basement. It features vinyl tile flooring, a very bright/fun aqua blue and white painted walls, exposed ceiling, and a vintage midcentury aqua blue cabinet & counter convenient for unpacking your personal effects. It also features a bedside table, closet, reading light, and it's own working pedestal sink.
The OTHER SLEEPING AREAS include a queen sleeper sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress in the front living room located on 1st floor of the house (the gray sofa pictured in the living room picture) & a queen sleeper sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress located in the main basement area between the 2 red chairs pictured in the basement photo.
THE 3 BATHROOMS:
The PRIMARY BATH, described above, is part if the primary suite. There is also a powder room on the ground floor, which features a walk-in shower, vanity/sink, & toilet. There is also a large bathroom upstairs with a shower/tub with shower curtain, large tiled counter vanity/sink, and toilet, & lots of storage cabinets.
THE KITCHEN & DINING:
The spacious fully-equipped kitchen (including granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and range & oven & hood) will make cooking and entertaining a pleasure. Dining options include seating for 6 in the formal dining room, seating for up to 12 at harvest table (handcrafted from reclaimed barn wood) in the eat-in kitchen/great room, seating for 10 at table under the outdoor pergola, or casual dining for 6 (with umbrella) on pool deck, or at the at one of the many bistro tables around pool deck.
THE GREAT ROOM:
This room is open to kitchen & dining areas, & features a large sofa sectional with a coffee table (with storage), large flat screen SMART TV, and stereo with speakers. Also has large brick wood-burning fireplace.
THE OTHER FEATURES:
Other features include a very large 2 car garage + extra storage space, large driveway with ample parking areas, mud room, & laundry room with a full-sized washer & dryer.
