Alta Vista Peak is a three-level, three-bedroom mountain home with a cabin feel located in Three Rivers, California and just 1.8 miles (5 mins) to the entrance of Sequoia National Park. The two bathrooms were built using a large amount of river rock to help create a mountain river ambience. There is a fireplace on the main floor and a wood burning stove in the master bedroom. The kitchen was created with a gourmet chef in mind! Lots of room and high quality appliances to prepare meals to perfection. There is a large deck that overlooks the entrance to Sequoia National Park. From the deck and all the east facing windows is the spectacular Morro Rock. A solid granite rock similar geologically to Yosemite’s Half Dome.

The Parks, which possess the largest tree in the World (General Sherman), the highest peak in the continental United States (Mount Whitney 14,505 ft), and is also the location of some of the oldest living trees (the Bristlecone pines 4,767 years old!). Both Men’s Journal and Outside magazine recommended the trails of these parks as some of the best hiking experiences in the world.
