Beautifully remodeled Art Deco vacation home in the heart of Old Town Tacoma just a short walk from the Ruston Way waterfront and Proctor District (surrounded by more shops and restaurants). Very close to downtown Tacoma (a short 5 minute drive), and only 3 miles from the Tacoma Dome (very short Uber ride). Amazing expansive views of the Puget Sound and city skyline from the living room and master bedroom. Home sits on a hill over-looking the Puget Sound, directly in front of the fireworks barge location on the the 4th of July! If the location was not amazing enough, guests will be impressed with every aspect of the property itself. The owner spared no expense in remodeling every detail of this home with the most modern and comfortable finishes.
Guests can enjoy a bottle of wine from the tasting room only blocks away, in front of the home's lovely gas fireplace on those chilly Pacific Northwest nights. Cook in the all white kitchen with stainless appliances and modern quartz counters that opens to the living room. Face guests and enjoy the amazing view. Ample on-street parking available, and for persons who cannot do the staircase from the front street, back street parking also available. Full run of the home including full capacity washer and dryer, fabulous lit courtyard with amazing views of Puget Sound, and all common areas of the property. Our property is a beautiful duplex that we stay in when we are in the area. We are busy professionals but are happy to make recommendations for local nightlife, restaurants, bars, etc. We are also long time residents who have traveled the region and can give great local and extended travel advice. Whatever you need, we’re happy to assist if we can! Guests can hit the Proctor Farmer's market or the fresh fish market on Ruston Way. Our location is so central to everything, you can get an Uber in no time, the bus stop is within a block, lots of taxis and you can even ride bikes. Our home is one of the more updated, modern, and clean you will come across, with great care taken in nearly every detail. You will not be disappointed after staying with us!
