Beautiful secluded home on the Rock River in Edgerton, WI
There are several things we pride ourselves about our vacation home, and feel like we do better than others, and certainly things you wouldn't find in a hotel:
Water: We are right on the Rock River which connects to Lake Koshkonong, we have our own private pier that you can park your boat at. You'll have to use one of the many public boat launches, but most have free parking. We have four kayaks available for use as well. The Rock River is connected and able to be driven by boat to Lake Koshkonong. Lake Koshkonong is a 10,000 acre lake and is great for boating, water skiing, or any other recreational water activities.
Comfy beds:
We use our vacation home too, so we want it to be as nice and comfortable as our home. You'll find some owners or people managing the property have never slept in the beds of their properties. We've stayed in each bedroom, just to make sure there aren't any weird annoyances or uncomfortable issues. You know, like the light from the window that perfectly blinds you as the sun rises..
Each bed has a fluffy down comforter, 1200 thread count sheets, and four pillows. There are a total of 6 bedrooms. 1 King, 5 Queens, 2 twins. Two Queen Air mattresses, and two sofas.
Full kitchen:
We have a fully stocked kitchen. Full service, glasses, plates, silverware, mugs, bowls. We have enough place settings for large groups. We have pots, pans, serving utensils, a blender, toasters and appliances if you feel like cooking during your stay. We have enough seating for over 17 guests, with seating for 12 at the dining room table. We have plastic kids cups/utensils/plates and a high chair.
Entertainment:
We have a 70" 4K LED HDTV in one of the living rooms with a Roku with Netflix. Each bedroom has 55" 4K Roku Smart TVs. There is also a 55" TV in the dining room/kitchen area that's perfect for watching shows or listening to music/Spotify/Pandora. We have several games and board games in the dresser near the dining room table.
Patio:
We have a huge patio with seating for several people. On the patio, we have a propane fire pit and propane grill for your use.
Secluded:
We are on a private road with only 3 other houses. Our place is very quiet at night. We are right on the water with a huge patio and our own private pier. It is a couple sets of stairs down to the river though, but there is a railing on each side of the staircase and the steps are in good condition.
Space:
This place has a great view of the Rock River, it is very secluded and on a wooded lot. We have a circle driveway with room for plenty of vehicles. Sitting on the pier or deck and just enjoying nature and the sound of the water is wonderful. We have five bedrooms and a ton of beds, so you are welcome to bring your family and friends to enjoy it with you!
We do not allow parties or events. We respect our neighbors and our neighborhood. Please keep noise down outside after 9PM. We reserve the right to evict in the event of any party or noise complaints. Additional guests beyond what was listed on the booking are not allowed. We unfortunately do not allow pets, we understand many of our guests are looking for a place that allows your furry family to join you, but due to some allergy issues we can't allow pets.
