Berkshires Paradise…..Beautiful private large (2500 sq ft) lakefront home on Robin Hood Lake, the largest lake in the Sherwood Forest area of Becket, MA. Great for relaxing, fishing, boating, hiking and having fun. This is truly a slice of heaven.
The house sits on an entire acre of land, providing you with absolute quiet and privacy. This house has 5 bedrooms and three full bathrooms (master bath was completely renovated).
Bedroom #1 – has two bunk beds, a single bed and very spacious (sleeps 5)
Bedroom #2 – nursery with a crib and glider (sleeps one baby)
Bedroom #3 – guest room, queen size bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom #4 – guest room, full size bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom #5 – master bed, king size bed and one in-suite full bathroom (just renovated) with shower (sleeps 2)
Upstairs – large area acts as kid’s playroom with a TV, full bathroom with shower and sofa bed (sleep 1)
Downstairs – kitchen, full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven, 4 burner gas stove, large kitchen table, large family room with TV, full bathroom with shower, washer/dryer. The kitchen comes completely stocked with dishes and cookware. We have internet, high speed.
Outside – large deck with furniture including a fire pit with Aidirondack chairs, picnic tables, patio tables, bar and propane grill. This rental also comes with the use of kayaks and canoe. We have our own private sandy “beach” area in front of the dock which is great for children.
Robin Hood Lake is a peaceful, quiet lake, called a “no wake lake” because no fast boats are allowed. It is very safe for children and swimmers, and ideal for canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats.
Sherwood Shoppe is located in the community and offers delicious home cooked. breakfast, sandwiches, and much more along with all your essential dry good grocery needs.
The Berkshires are a noted cultural & arts center. It is less than 10 minutes to Jacob's Pillow dance festival (free evening performances at a stunning outdoor stage) and 30 minutes to Tanglewood. The Appalachian Trail is just 15 minutes away. Easy access to the Norman Rockwell museum, Edith Wharton's 'the mount', Kripalu Yoga Center, Canyon Ranch Spa/Day Spa, Berkshire Museum, MassMoca and the Clark. The town of Lee and the Lee premium outlets are 15 minutes away.
