Hi, we are Brooks and Kristina, we have lived in this house for two years and really feel as though we have taken this from a house to a home. We have loved living at the base of the Sandia mountains with our family of five and know that you will too! One of our absolute favorite things to do at this property is enjoy the sunset through the west facing windows and doors on the cold nights or out on the porch on warmer nights...but always with a glass of wine in hand!
You will love the home that we have curated for your enjoyment. We offer a fully-stocked kitchen with all the amenities you may require, a coffee bar with all types of coffee-making ability (lattes in the espresso machine, pour over, French press, or just plain drip coffee), a foosball table, a converted walk-in closet to a nursery, kids books/toys, and board games for you all to enjoy while you stay with us.
We also have 2 living rooms! One for long chats among family, friends and colleagues and the other with our 65" Smart TV, perfect for a cozy and relaxing night in. And we can't forget our dedicated workspace, perfect for any remote work you need to handle during your travels!
Situated just a 5 min walk to the Embudito Canyon trailhead, the multiple trails close to the home offer something for everyone to enjoy! Whether you're a family that's more on-pace to enjoy swing sets at our local (free) park, or the mountain goat type that wants to catch the sunrise creep across the vast views, you're right there for all of it.
Keep cool in our home after your adventures with our efficient evaporative cooling system. Your comfort is one of our top priorities!
Checking in and out is easy. You will be sent a unique check-in door code that will work for the duration of your stay. Access to the 3-car garage is available and we please ask you return the garage remotes upon checkout. We have stored a few things against the wall in the garage, but other than that, you have full access.
