Summary: We never saw another person at this Inn, not a guest, nor a proprietor. We were the only people there, which was a little weird. Because it was during in the eclipse and an hour from totality. All communication was email and text. Oh, one phone call.
I don’t know what it’s like at the height of the summer/boating season. But I’d like to return in the fall.
It’s in a neighborhood with normal houses, but you can sit on the deck and enjoy river view from hot tub. It’s very spacious. A complete apartment. We were upstairs in Room 2. See top right of photo.
I did not like the stupid motion detector coming on when I wanted to sit on deck at night. It’s completely unnecessary and annoying.
The frig was just stocked with breakfast and lunch items when we arrived. We couldn’t even eat all of it. What a nice surprise.
There’s a good pizza/bar/local dive a few blocks away.
Another complaint is that there should be a double bed instead of a single in the second bedroom.
But overall, I recommend this quaint Inn and I’d stay again and ask for the same room. I enjoyed the upper deck and privacy.
