Peaceful tranquility and a perfect getaway in a small lake front community on the Champlain Islands! This newly renovated, cozy camp style home is just steps away from Lake Champlain’s shoreline. Comfortable in any weather, air conditioning for hot summer days and heated for chilly nights and shoulder seasons. The community amenities include 400’ of lakefront common land with magnificent sunsets and water views, a swimming pool, kayak launch area, and a fishing dock (BYO- kayak). If you need boat launch, slip, or storage we are a short 4 minute drive to Ladd's Marina between North and South Hero bridge. Easy drive to Burlington and Plattsburgh NY (via short ferry ride). You can even take an easy day trip to nearby Montreal Canada (1.5 hr one way). NOTE: Hero's Welcome store in North Hero rents kayaks. Ladd's rents powerboats but we suggest you reserve your dates with them ahead of time).
