Downtown Boone, home to Appalachian State University, is fifteen minutes away and boasts local dining, shopping, and breweries. Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Boone Golf Course, High Gravity Adventures Aerial Park, Grandfather Winery, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and many more High Country adventures are all within a brief 20-minute drive.
Enter the main floor living area and find a classic log home with convenience and craftsmanship throughout. The warm wood interior boasts soaring vaulted ceilings, wood floors, and a stacked stone gas log fireplace. Granite and stainless appliances adorn the quaint kitchen and dining area, which accesses the deck beyond with a gas grill. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king bed, reading nook, and ensuite bathroom with a jetted soaking tub. The loft provides a sleeping area with two twin beds. There are two queen bedrooms on the main level sharing a full hallway bathroom, and there is an additional full bathroom in the lower level family game room.
There are Smart TVs in both living rooms and all three bedrooms for guests to log into personal streaming accounts for entertainment. Deer Hollow Retreat includes high-speed WIFI, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer. Pets are not allowed at Deer Hollow Retreat. Thank you for not bringing pets to this cabin.
