Living room has futon that sleeps one, chairs. ottoman, table and lamps. Chairs on deck for enjoying morning and afternoon sun and view of Klickitat Canyon. Fenced backyard with table, chairs, and BBQ (except during Fire-ban). Complimentary use of Laundry room if your stay is for 1 week or more. Second floor apartment of a friendly 5-plex building with long-term residents. Shared entrance/hallway/stairs. The apartment is in the heart of Klickitat and although usually very quiet, most neighbors have dogs and one has chickens and ducks (no roosters, thank God!). Klickitat is a remote rural town and is still recovering economically from closure of the wood mill. Some of the neighboring homes are rentals and do not show pride of ownership. There are a lot of songbirds and they can get pretty loud as they flee the resident hawk. Wild Life abounds in Klickitat! We hope you will be our guest, it's a really beautiful place. Sorry no pets. Stairs and balcony of this older building are not safe for young children. We live two hours away, so guests need to be self-sufficient and independent.
