Summary: The property (inside) was very comfortable. However, the neighborhood and neighbors directly across the street were SCARY! Each morning we woke up and left the house with beer bottles scatter, tampons on the ground, etc. We were scared both coming and going from the property to our cars. A lot of people milling around, yelling/screaming at each other, dropping F bombs, etc. On our last day, there were multiple mattresses tossed on the edge of the street (on a Sunday morning). That night there were many police sirens and a great deal of activity. I would speculate that the property across the street is a hub of gang and/or drug activity. Cars coming and going and very scary people! The interior of the property was wonderful, comfortable, clean, and tasteful. However, I WILL NOT stay here again due to the scary neighborhood and concern for personal safety and the safety of our vehicles. This is not the fault of the property owner but rather a failure of the city and the lack of support for police to do what is necessary! It is sad to see great homes and neighborhoods being adversely impacted by poor decisions of leaders.
