Walking distance from Semillas and the farmers market as well as La Plaza, the center of town, our sweet bungalow will be a perfect resting place in your adventures in Vegas. Light filled spaces within and a spacious porch without. Our place invites you to relax during your time here.
The space:
Our copper casita is kid and family friendly. Open kitchen to the dining area is perfect for family meal. Quiet king bedroom lovely for retreating. Bathroom feels like a mini spa with simple amenities to make your stay special. And, finally, the living room with the mid century meets southwest feel is just what you will need during your vacation to chill. Our retreat home has no tv, but we hope the wifi and games provided give you a chance to truly be present with each other !
We are renovating this beautiful historic home; and, we are constantly making improvements! Because casita cobre is in its restoration process, we’ve underpriced the nightly fee. Your stay, helps us restore this beautiful home. Our next project: the dryer and the windows. Thanks!
The house is 2 bedroom, 1 bath. The first bedroom has a king size bed, closet and vintage furniture. The second bedroom is an office space ready for your use. The house has on open kitchen and living room with vaulted ceilings. Both front and back doors open onto porches that gives the space a wonderful indoor-outdoor feel. Appliances include stove, washer, dishwasher, microwave, and heater.

Our whole bungalow is for you doing your stay. Free gated parking provided in our driveway.

This will be a great ready made home for anyone that is in between long term rentals, moving to the new Vegas temporarily or in the midst of a home buying search. The house is fully furnished and prepared. High speed broadband is already set up for for you to work from home or just retreat and play some games. The neighborhood in conveniently located close to EVERYTHING including the grocery store and plaza and community park with swings, picnic tables, and more.

Centrally located near the corner of 7th and Columbia. Our bungalow is in the historic district and surrounded by Victorians and other beautiful and well loved homes. Be sure to catch happy hour and local music at La Plaza, breakfast at Charlie’s Spic n Span, a sweet treat at Ulibarri’s Candy Shoppe, or bike along the beautiful river pathway.
Getting around:
Only a 5 minute walk to Semillas market and the farmers market. Another 10 minute stroll to La Plaza where the local candy shop (in the family) and art exhibits as well as restaurants thrive. A quick drive to the Montezuma hot spring, the new brewery, and the Wildlife refuge too. And, less than an hour to Santa Fe and an hour to Taos.
