When you arrive and park in the driveway you will be in a well-established, quiet, safe neighborhood of Portales.
You can sit out front on the covered porch or on the covered patio in the private fenced-in backyard.
Inside, you will have 2 bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each, a full bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, a full-sized washer/dryer, and a large desk.
The space
You will have a well sticked kitchen to prepare home-cooked meals as well as a coffee/tea station with a variety of options including decaf and herbal teas. In the cupboards, you will find treats to snack on.
Mini splits in the BR's, LR & Kitchen.
Enjoy a Roku 65 Inch TV in the living room with Max, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Paramount +,YouTubeTV w/ Sunday Ticket while relaxing on an 8-foot COMFY leather couch. There are also TVs with streaming capability in the bedrooms.
At bedtime, retire to a Memory Foam Queen-size mattress in one of the 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms have 100% blackout curtains on all windows and the beds have 6 pillows with comfy bedding to ensure a great night's sleep.
You will be blocks from Portales Fun Center, Rotary Park, ENMU, and Farmer's Market/Supermarket.
The private backyard is fully fenced.
Guest access
You will have the house to yourself.
One room in the house (off of the laundry area) will not be available. It is being used for storage/supplies.
Other things to note
This is an older home that was built in 1950. It is warm and inviting and I hope you love "this old house" as much as I do. I have been slowly updating this home and will continue to do so.
I welcome housetrained, well-mannered pets that are spayed/neutered.
Please crate your pet when you are not home to ensure no damage is done.
If you choose to sit out front on the covered porch you will have the opportunity to "cat-watch" the neighborhood cats. They are being taken care of by multiple neighbors in the neighborhood, myself included. I leave food available for them. They never want to be pet, but one or two may sit within a few feet of you if you are enjoying the outdoors on the front porch. They do not enter the backyard, so if cats are not your idea of relaxation, stick to the patio in the backyard.
