Located right in between Denver, Golden, and Red Rocks in Morrison, our 1/2-acre property in Wheat Ridge is the perfect base camp for your trip to the Colorado front range. The basement guest suite, with private entrance, is quiet, clean, and comfortable. You’ll have access to our wrap-around, craftsman-built, covered-porch, and the amazing view from our hot tub looking out toward Golden over a pond with beautiful trees and the magnificent Rocky Mountain front range in the background.
Wind down after a day of adventure on the comfortable, king-size bed. Enjoy some Netflix or login to favorite subscription on the 50" 4K smart TV. If you prefer to read, we have a small library of literature and maps including a number of books on topics of local interest. We also have some board games in the room. There is a nice office space with a desk, monitor, keyboard, and mouse, so you can hook up your computer and get the job done. A printer is available by request.
We've created a little kitchenette in the closet with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, and air fryer. Plates, bowls, glassware, and silverware are provided.
There is a portable AC if you want to get your chill on, or spark up the electric fireplace if you like it hot.
The house is on a relatively busy avenue, so there is some traffic noise outdoors, but it is quiet in the guest suite, and the windows have block-out curtains, so set yourself up for a restful night of sleep.
The neighborhood is a safe and lovely place for a walk or jog. Groceries, shopping, and restaurants are less than a mile away.
The half-acre lot has a pull-around driveway with ample parking and maneuvering space for motor-homes or trailers. Parking is located right outside the private entrance on the back-side of the house.
The owners live on the main level of the house. We are available if you need any help or want to talk to someone, but we try to make it feel like we're not even there as much as possible.
