Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cozy cottage sits on the beautiful Little Lake, at the foot of the St Catherine mountain. The house is fully equipped for a relaxing escape and also ready for the adventurer.
Watch the sun set over the lake, fish off the dock, hike the local trails, or enjoy a paddle to Lake St Catherine and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Tucked away from the main road, but also under 10 mins from grocery stores, restaurants, a lovely swimming beach and a beautiful golf course. The lake is quite peaceful with very little motor boat traffic.
We have outdoor furniture, a fire pit and a kayak on the property for guest use. Other boats and watercraft are available for rent at Lake St Catherine State Park.
In the front of the house is a quaint kitchen stocked with all you need for cooking and dining. There is a gas grill on the front deck. A large living area faces the lake; snuggle up after a day in nature and watch a movie using Google Chromecast or the (throwback) DVD player.
You may spot one of the local hummingbirds from the front deck that faces the Green Mountains. There are quite a few steps down to the back deck that overlooks the lake. Children are more than welcome (and we have ours here often), but small children will require supervision on these steps.
