Set on 15 extremely private, wooded acres on the beautiful Pine River, this modern cabin immerses you in nature, comfort, and peace. **Also, disability accessible.** The cabin includes full-time home features: gourmet kitchen, hi-speed wi-fi, HD TVs w/ immersive sound, Hi-Fi audio, & full laundry. We have private woods & walking trails. Bring your canoe/kayak & paddle the Pine River to/from our shoreline. Bike local roads & the Paul Bunyan Trail. Boat access to the Whitefish Chain is about 3 miles away.
The cabin was intentionally designed as a retreat and a future full-time home. So, it has the amenities and conveniences of modern living, with comfort, accessibility, and peacefulness at the center of the cabin's design and build goals.
The cabin includes disability accessibility features, including no-step entry, single-level living throughout with no steps or elevation changes, 32-inch or wider room access, and ADA grab bars and shower benches in both bathrooms. The main bathroom also includes wheelchair-accessible transfer features for the toilet and shower areas.
Guests have access to all areas of the cabin and full 15-acre property except for the cabin's mechanical room and one closet in the main bedroom. The pole barn/garage is also not accessible by guests.
Other things to note
* In-floor radiant heat throughout the entire cabin. We also have a central HVAC as backup heat and central air conditioning for summer cooling.
*Outdoor security cameras are installed at each porch entrance and record video/audio for *outside* areas near each entry. One security camera at the main entry views the drive/parking/entry apron. The second security camera is at the south porch entry door, viewing the porch entry and yard area looking south. They do *not* view into the cabin. There are *no* cameras or audio recording devices in the cabin.
*** NOTE: The outdoor security cameras feature security lights that activate automatically when motion is detected. The security lights (not cameras) can be deactivated (if you request) during your stay. Sometimes, it's nice to be out in the evening without extra exterior lighting (e.g star gazing, fire in the chimera, etc.).
