For hands-on experiences, there are many nearby attractions in the Hill Country that specialize in farm and exotic animal encounters.
Since this is a true Hill Country retreat, you may encounter insects or wildlife such as scorpions, spiders, snakes, and other critters—especially in summer. We maintain regular pest control and provide bug spray, but some sightings are simply part of the Texas wilderness experience.
