Located just outside of Stowe in the town of Elmore, this 12.5-acre property has it all for guests looking to explore and play! Highlights include gorgeous views toward Mount Mansfield, a large and flat manicured yard, meadows, and a forest of mixed hard- and softwoods. Great care has been taken to maximize your enjoyment of the property and features include a figure eight cross country trail for skiing and walking, an outdoor firepit, and large sunny decks. Inside the two bay car garage, you'll find a 'playroom' with toys for those young and young at heart—a volleyball net, pickleball supplies (the driveway is paved), golf flags for impromptu chipping competitions, a bocce ball set, foosball, and ping pong! Nearby, enjoy Ryder Brook's nine-hole golf course, a hike up Mount Elmore with a dip in the lake afterwards, and bike right out the door—Elmore Mountain Road is a mecca for gravel riders connecting Stowe, Morrisville, and Elmore. Elmore Escape is ideally centered between the villages of Stowe and Morrisville and the myriad amenities they offer.
Inside, an ample kitchen with cozy built-in banquette seating leads through the dining area and into the spacious living room—a great spot to relax at the end of the day. The primary bedroom with a private bath is located at one end of the home with the opposite wing being home to three additional guest rooms and another full bath.
