In our warm monts, relax, grab a book and and enjoy the Vermont fresh air sunshine as you lounge on our quite spacious deck. In the winter, bring your cross-country skis and head right out our backdoor to your own private winter wonderland. Or unwind in our new, outdoor hot tub with a glass of wine after a long day on the slopes. Is hiking your thing? Grab your hiking books, head right out our front door and hike up Owl's Head. Inside our home, boasts much from vaulted ceilings, beautiful wood floors, a gym, ping pong, a finished basement and much more. Nearby, there is plenty to do! Two major ski mountains are located close by-Bromley Mountain and Stratton Mountain. Both are family friendly and offer summer adventure entertainment too (We highly recommend the Alpine Slide on Bromley Mountain in the summer). Less than a mile away is the magnificent Dorset Marble Quarry- the perfect swimming hole surrounded by beautiful marble. Many restaurants from casual to fine dining are just minutes away. The Dorset Playhouse is always a hit and perfect date night and is right around the corner. Rainy day? We have outlet shops less than 10 minutes away! Stores like J Crew, Theory, Vineyard Vines, Talbots, The Gap to name a few! Our property is 3 miles away from the horse show that comes to our town of Dorset every summer- The Vermont Summer Festival! Heard of the Vermont Country Store? Take a 20-minute fall foliage drive to shop the store (they have penny candy!) Please visit and tour Hildene- the Lincoln Family home, only 10 minutes away which boasts beautiful, spectacular gardens and grounds, a goat petting farm, and the 1903 restored Pullman car, "Sunbeam". And don't leave without having a scoop of Ben and Jerry's-there is one right here in downtown Manchester during late Spring/Summer!
