A north woods gem. Located between Lake Holcombe and the Chetek chain of lakes. Only on the more laid-back Fire Side Lake. Furnished two level Fireside Lake home on five wooded acres. The main level has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Bathroom includes a full size tub/shower, a washing machine and a dryer. The lower level has two bedrooms and one bathroom(full size tub/shower.) The upper level has a fully stocked kitchen with a stove, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The dining area can seat 8-10 at the table, and living room has a HD TV, radio and toys and games for the kids. The lower level is a walk-out to the lake. It has a wet bar with a 2nd fridge/freezer. The extra living room downstairs is great for the kids to play, Both levels have large look-out windows to the lake. Bedding, bath towels, Wi-Fi, Roku, and Netflix, gas grill, charcoal, charcoal grill, and campfire wood are all included. Sorry, no pets allowed.
Perfect getaway for the entire family for the weekend, or an entire week. The kids will love the gradually sloping, sandy bottom lake. Adult guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility.
* Everyone can enjoy the two kayaks, row boat and paddle boat that come with a stay at Fireside Lakes. There are two docks on the 260 feet of lake frontage. We will provide all our guests with a pontoon style paddle boat (in picture), a row boat, two kayaks, and life vests. All our guests are welcome to bring their own water craft and toys.
We have a pontoon, and fishing boat for rent to our guests. Ask about rates after booking.
The wooded yard provides shady spots along with open spots for enjoying the sun, and room for the kids to run.
Fireside Lakes is 300 acres of pure fishing and leisure pleasure. Troll for that elusive walleye, kayak past the active bald eagle nest, or take the kids water skiing. The lake is perfect for every adventurer.
The Rusk county public boat landing is only a half mile away from our house on Indian Point Road. The boat landing is user friendly with a dock to launch from.
Rusk county has an outstanding ATV and snowmobile trail system. The trails use public and private land as well as many paved roads for a more comfortable ride. Trail heads are accessible from our lake home. The yard is big enough to accommodate haul trailers. You must inform us if you are planning on using ATV's, while staying here.
The area offers several other large and small lakes with boat landings. The nearby Chippewa River can offer a leisurely float.
Amacoy Lake golf course is a nine hole course with a club house just minutes north on Highway 40.
Nearby public land is available for hiking, hunting, and wildlife viewing.
Great food is always served at Fireside Bar and Grill. It is on Fireside lake. The Fireside Bar and Grill is accessible by boat, car, or walking. There are several other restaurants nearby as well.
