This completely renovated cottage is tucked back off the road and sits on 80 acres of land. The owners completely remodeled the cabin and have created 4 miles of hiking (or snowshoeing in the winter) trails for their guests to enjoy.
On the main level, there’s 1 full bathroom and 2 bedrooms each equipped with a queen-sized bed. Additionally, there’s a private upstairs loft with a futon in the hallway and 2 twin beds in the large back room. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and boasts new stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests.
The property is a short 7-minute (we timed it!) drive to the historic Taylors Falls on the beautiful St. Croix River with no shortage of things to do including hiking, biking, water activities, shopping, eateries, and wineries. It’s the perfect town for all ages! Lindstrom is also nearby for those who want to check out this adorable Swedish town.

Summary: We loved this property. Great trails to enjoy the fall weather. The only small gripe I would make would be more comfortable seating in the living room. The wicker chairs weren’t very comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
