A popular, beautiful cabin in the pines sits ON THE RIVER! It has been remodeled throughout. Enjoy gorgeous views of hillsides & Little Colorado River from large private deck equipped with BBQ & comfy outdoor furnishings. The kitchen has stainless gas stove/double oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, disposal, coffee maker & many additional kitchen appliances. Easy to prepare & serve a large family with seating for up to 16 guests in the Main Cabin. Great for the holidays or small family reunions.
The Space:
This listing is for the Main Cabin ONLY. It sleeps 10 guests with 4 master suites (3 Kings / 1 Cal king) & 4 new full bathrooms. 2 Ottoman beds and 1 twin rollaway and 1 wooden crib.
If you would like to also rent the attached Guest House which sleeps up to 4 guests with 1 master suite (1 King) & 1 full Bathroom, sleeper sofa and hidden twin bed in the family room, you will need to make a separate reservation to add it.
Both areas are connected by a lockable hallway door for privacy or can stay open for easy movement throughout the whole house.
We do offer this cabin as just the Main House or just the Guest House as well.
Guest Access:
When you rent the Main House, you have access to the lovely back porch with a gas grill, lots of cushioned porch seating, upright heaters & a ping pong table just above the Little Colorado River. No campfires on the property and NO PETS are allowed in the cabin. Owner is extremely allergic!
The Neighborhood:
This cabin is located in the heart of Greer Village. It sits atop the Little Colorado River. We are less than 30 minutes from Sunrise Ski Park, 20 minutes from Eagar/Springerville, 50 minutes from Alpine and minutes from Hannagan Meadow.
Getting Around:
The cabin is just off Main Street. Follow the Greer Village Walkway for safe travels in town with strollers, horses, bikes and dogs. Most of town is accessible via this path with just a short walk to the library, coffee, shopping, dining & fishing areas.
Other Things to Note:
Riverbend Family Retreat sits just above the Little Colorado River which you can see and hear from the porch. Fishing in the river is allowed but you must obtain a license through AZGFD. A license is available online.
Interaction with Guests:
Property managers live on an adjacent property so we are always close by in the event of an emergency or something we missed.
