North Spirit Lake is 224 acres and 22 feet deep. Take a boat ride through a small channel and you can try Little Spirit Lake with its 126 acres. While enjoying the lake, be ready to witness all the wildlife that make this area their home, from the muskrat and beaver that swim in the lakes to the deer that walk down for a drink. Waterfowl like ducks and loons, frequent the lake, along with the majestic bald eagles that are often seen soaring overhead fishing for their supper.

If you want to experience small, up-north town life, there are some that are short rides away, such as Rib Lake-6 miles and Tomahawk-23 miles. Just over an hour away is Hayward, the home of the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and the Lumberjack World Championships.
