This sun-splashed home is located in Manset, a small village just two miles south of Southwest Harbor on the quietside of Mount Desert Island. Here at the mouth of Somes Sound, you'll be only three miles from the edge of Acadia, five miles north of the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, and 16 miles southwest of Bar Harbor.
Come home from an afternoon of kayaking or hiking to relax in the casual living space, where you'll find an open floor plan, tile floors, and a comfortable leather sofa and armchair. Open the curtains to let in the summer sun, use the free WiFi to share photos of the day's adventures, and gather around the coffee table with a deck of cards or a board game.

Spend your days hiking to the nearby summits of Beech Mountain, Bernard Mountain, and Mansell Mountain in Acadia, or take a dip on the shores of Echo Lake Beach four miles north. Head west for the morning to climb Cadillac Mountain or admire the jaw-dropping views on the Ocean Path, and return home to enjoy a few lobster rolls at Beal's Lobster Pier on Clark Point two miles north.
