Summary: To be fair, this hotel is under renovation and will hopefully be better after it is done. THE CARPETING IN OUR ROOM (214) was so dirty and stained that we didn't want to walk barefoot on it. The room was cool, so I turned the wall heater on, and it stunk so bad I had to turn it off. It smelled like urine. There was NO HOT WATER in the morning , I had to take a cold shower. There was a college volleyball team staying at the hotel, and there was no room or food for other guests in the small breakfast area. I voiced my concerns with the manage, and she did give us a partial refund. I like La Quinta Inn and Suites, and we usually stay there when travelling. Hopefully the new renovations will bring this one up to the quality we expect.
