Located on a private road on the quiet end of Lake Willoughby, this charming home offers the quintessential Vermont lake vacation you deserve. In the warm months, you can jump right off your private dock into the lake for a swim, explore the water in the provided canoe, go fishing or boating, explore the private rock beach, or visit some of the many nearby hiking and biking trails. In the winter, Lake Willoughby offers excellent ice fishing, and you’re close to snowmobile trails and Burke Mountain for skiing and snowboarding as well. Willoughby North Beach is a five-minute canoe, kayak, or paddle board trip away, and five minutes on foot.
Willoughby Lake Store is a five-minute drive away and the Gap restaurant is three minutes away by vehicle. The south beach of Willoughby is a 10-minute drive away and the beach and hiking trails are located there as well. If you’d rather just relax, play a game of corn hole or kick back with a cup of coffee or a cocktail on your waterfront deck and watch for wildlife - bald eagles, loons, ducks, beavers, and otters are frequent visitors.
Inside, you’ll find an open floor plan with lots of comfortable gathering spaces. The full kitchen features all the appliances and plenty of counter space, with lots of mealtime seating between the dining table and barstools at the breakfast bar. Spend evenings listening to music on the record player, watch TV, or break out a board game for more together time. When you get sleepy, you’ll find one bedroom on the main floor and two more upstairs. Drift off to sleep dreaming of the perfect lake day you just had, and the one to come tomorrow.
