An open concept, well-equipped kitchen is a vacation cooking and baking paradise - just bring your recipes and enthusiasm, and enjoy the large dining table for marvelous feasts. The living area is warmed by a wood fireplace that opens out to a covered porch overlooking the lake. The large two-section deck wraps around the house creating an outdoor kitchen and dining area and separate lounge areas. Each bedroom features a working station/desk. The home has a spacious lower-level entertainment area and additional accommodation space featuring a game table, ping-pong/pool table, space for movie nights equipped with a projector, and plenty of comfortable seating.
When you want to get in or on the water, the lake and your own private beach with multiple kayaks and canoes are just a few short steps from your porch. A hidden gem for swimmers and fishing enthusiasts, Mirror Lake in Woodstock is one of the cleanest and most picturesque bodies of water in New Hampshire (motorboats of any kind are completely prohibited). From your secluded backyard enter into the woods to discover a little-traversed walking trail through the protected forest wrapping around the lakeshore. A short walk up the road leads to a trail up alongside Hubbard Brook, a magnificent water stream with beautiful New England scenery. Or, for an even longer hike alternative, walk up the path for miles into the hills. Many more attractions, hiking, biking, skiing, water streams, lakes, and ponds of New Hampshire’s amazing Lakes and Mountains region are only a short drive away.
