Nearby Mount Norris is a family friendly hike featuring spectacular views of Lake Eden and is less than three miles from the house. Vermont’s Long Trail which runs the length of the state passes within several miles of Lake Eden. There are plenty of beautiful drives and bicycle routes throughout the region, including several covered bridges. The house is within a short ride from great food and some of the best breweries Vermont has to offer. Lost Nation Brewery is about a 25 minute drive from the house. Then there's Boyden Winery in Jeffersonville and Smugglers Notch Distillery. The Burger Barn is a great place to eat in the same area. Other relaxing activities include a local horseback ride at Lajoie Farms. Or just grab a cup of coffee and walk down the quiet dirt road that the house is located along the lake.
