Your code to unlock the door is the last four digits of your phone number on your AirBnb profile. Please be aware that we will do our best to make that entrance as private as possible, but we may need to use it occasionally.
Please take off your shoes and boots and leave them in the entryway.
NO SMOKING is allowed in the house or in front of the entrance door. Smoking is allowed on the deck but please respect the area and dispose of your butts in the OUTSIDE garbage container. Thank you.
The entire upstairs of the house along with the bathroom downstairs is your private space. The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator/freezer, electric frying pan, microwave, toaster and toaster oven, dishes, cups, glasses, silverware and cooking utensils. If you need additional cooking or dining space, the downstairs kitchen and dining room (which is shared with the host) is available.
No matter how you like you coffee brewed, we have what you need including: a Kurig (with K-cups), a 12 cup drip coffee maker and filters, a coffee grinder and a French Press. We also provide a few snacks and breakfast items for our guest convenience.
There is a small prayer closet (in the small bedroom) for quiet prayer and/or meditation.
For outdoor cooking we provide a charcoal grill, charcoal, lighter fluid. There is a fire pit you are welcome to use equipped with firewood (and plenty of kindling).
The television is a Roku andis Wi-Fi connected. There is a DVD player and a few family DVD’s available to use. You may also sign into your Netflix or other tv channels.
We have 2 outdoor cats (Zoe and Dave) that patrol our property and keep it safe from little critters (mostly chipmunks - sometimes). We also have a chicken coop that houses 6 hens and 2 roosters (who like to wake us up with their crowing at the crack of dawn). We usually have fresh eggs so if you would like some, please let us know.
You are welcome to bring your own well behaved pets, however there will be an additional charge of $75. We do ask that you crate your dog if you will be off property (we have a baby gate as well.)
We have a large yard that can be utilized for family picnics and other special events upon approval. If you do host an event on the property, you are responsible to bring tables, chair and all that is needed.
