Relax and have fun with tons of amenities. Bright and clean smoke-free home is 15 minutes to Santa Fe plaza. Perfect for two families or groups up to 8 adults plus kids. Tranquil views of the mountains include sunrise from the back windows and sunset from the front! Amenities include sauna, 2 laundry rooms, 2 refrigerators, Nintendo Switch, exercise bike, street bikes (adult and child), telescope for dark sky viewing, espresso machine, three work spaces, baby accessories, patios, grill, privacy gate, garage, pet friendly and so much more! Perfect for large groups or two families. Sure to make happy memories for all!
Please note that we cannot accommodate parties. Neighbors are very sensitive to noise and any kind of smoke, and they will let us know if they are inconvenienced. Quiet hours are important for our ability to continue to offer our home. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am.
The Home
Casa Desert Rose is an attached home with a private yard located on the south side of Santa Fe with spectacular mountain views of sunrise and sunset. Recently built, it is modern and elegant. There are two master bedrooms with bathrooms, one on each floor, in addition to an extra bedroom on each floor. There is a sofa bed in the living room that sleeps two. There are four bathrooms total. Each floor has its own laundry room. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, glasses, flatware, microwave, blender (also doubles as a food processor), coffee and espresso makers plus coffee. Large groups will appreciate the extra refrigerator in the garage.

Second bedroom with hallway bath
Sofa bed in living room
Second floor which can accommodate up to 4 people:
En-suite Master Bedroom with king bed (and fantastic views of the mountains)
Second bedroom with trundle bed (two twin mattresses) and TV, access to hallway bathroom
Special Touches
Enjoy the security and convenience of an automatic gate in the back of the property, creating a safe haven for your family, your vehicles, and hot tubbing.
You will love the hot tub in the back section of the enclosed yard, especially at night gazing at the amazingly clear Santa Fe sky! There is also a telescope for astronomy buffs. The festive hot tub area also features a propane-fueled heater on the patio with chairs and a towel rack.
There is another patio just outside of the kitchen that includes a relaxing sitting area and an outdoor grill.
In the garage, surprise! There is an infra-red sauna for you to enjoy and an extra refrigerator for large groups.
There are TWO laundry centers, one on each floor. This is especially convenient for large groups and any necessary towel washing.
There is an exercise bike in the front downstairs bedroom as well as a Celestron telescope.
The kitchen has a 10-cup coffee maker, an espresso machine, coffee supplies and a coffee grinder. You will find plenty of pots, dishes, utensils and glasses as well as a popcorn maker, blender, toaster and microwave.
Living room features amazingly comfy recliner couch, sofa bed, large screen TV with Roku (bring passwords to streaming services you want to watch), Nintendo Switch, and the option of surround sound for audiophiles.
The four bathrooms are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap we well as towels and bath mats.
Digital locks make it easy for you to access the property.
Children
Bringing along a little one? We have a brand new high chair, changing table, and pack n' play plus kiddie dishes and utensils. Older kids love the Nintendo Switch. We've left you some games and guide books as well. There is an adult-sized bike and a small bike with training wheels (Note: bike at your own risk). Trails are on the opposite side of Richards Avenue to the left and the right just a ways down.
Pets
The side yard is separated from the back by a gate. We suggest that you send dogs (you can have up to two) to the side yard for potty or take them for walks in the neighborhood. Please clean up after your dog. Be sure to leash your dog when going out the front door.
Parking
There is a two car garage and an automatic gate that allows for complete back yard privacy. Park either in the garage or the driveway. You can park two cars in the garage and two cars on the driveway. If you have guests, please ask them to park behind the house (HOA policy).
Location
Located on the south side of town near Santa Fe place mall, Target, Albertson's, Starbucks, Cerrillos Road shops. Quaint and quiet Oshara Village features a children's playground, a plaza and Pantry Dos Restaurant, all within walking distance. We are 20 minutes to the Santa Fe Plaza and 45 minutes to the Santa Fe Ski Basin.
Environment
For those who are environmentally sensitive, this is a mold-free house. We use natural cleaning products with the exception of occasional use of bleach. Let us know if you prefer no bleach. Owner is environmentally sensitive, and we know how important it is to find a safe vacation home!
The Area
Oshara Village is a quiet haven that is surprisingly close to everything Santa Fe. You will find Santa Fe to be a charming Southwest haven. Don't miss the art galleries, festivals, downtown plaza music nights, opera and performing arts, Meow Wolf, and eclectic restaurants. If you are bringing your dog, you will want to go to Frank Ortiz dog park, one of the biggest dog parks in the country. Attractions around Santa Fe include tent rocks, Chimayo, Bandolier State Park, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow, and the Taos pueblo.
