We welcome you to enjoy your vacation in our 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage by the beach. Although there are 2 bedrooms the cottage sleeps 6 this includes a Queen bed, a Full bed and a Queen size futon. There is also an additional bunk perfect for a child. You will feel all the comforts of home on your vacation by the beach with Cable TV, WIFI, and a beautiful private back yard complete with Grill, Chiminea and Patio furniture. Additionally, you will have your own washer and dryer located inside the cottage. Of course you will have all necessary pans, cookware, and utensils, along with a stove, microwave, full size fridge, linens and air conditioning to cool down after a hot summer day on the beach. An outside shower is also available to wash off sand and salt. There will be two parking spots available for your vacation party. Our lovely cottage is located just 50 yards from the beach with no streets to cross to get there and a lovely 1 mile stroll to the center and pier of Old Orchard Beach! This area features gift shops, arcades, Palace Play land amusement park, fantastic restaurants and nightlife. The summer also brings service from the Amtrak Down-easter at the downtown train station for quick easy commute to the historic Old Port or even the city of Boston! There are many stunning trails surrounding the area. Great for hiking, biking or just a casual nature stroll. Maine being known for the beautiful outdoors has outdoor sports to offer all around you. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing and guided tours just 5 minutes away at the 3100 acre saltwater preserve known as the Scarborough Marsh. We are located just 12 miles North of South Portland where you can find the Maine Mall or take a stroll down the cobblestone streets of the historic Old Port while enjoying the beauty of the Marina, the taste of the freshest sea food and the unique boutiques and art gallery’s that fill the buildings all around.
