Everyone has a favorite place, whether it be a building, a place outside, or even just being with friends. These places all hold something special to the people that inhabit them, they are places for fun, for relaxation, for just hanging out, and sometimes, even for work. It’s a place where memories are made, friendships are strengthened, and relationships are formed. Nothing but good seems to come from them. Sure there are places we all like to be, but this is beyond that. This is a favorite place, a place like no other, and ours just so happens to be Open View Lake House on Harris Break Lake.
The whole experience starts with the porch, where you will want to spend most of your time, as it provides a beautiful uninterrupted view of the lake and is the perfect place to sit down and strum a chord or two on the guitar with the family all siting around, watch the fish jump in the lake or just enjoy a beautiful sunset.
This house has been newly renovated to ensure you have all the comforts of home. When you walk in you enter the kitchen which is set back from the living and Bistro area and has clear views through the living room of the lake. It has new countertops, stainless steel sink and fully equipped with Stainless steel appliances that include a five burner gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, and side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser. For your convenience there is also a garbage disposal and large pantry. You will immediately notice the views through the living room of the lake. The open concept in the living room with lakeside windows, dining area and kitchen and an additional Bistro area flow together perfectly and allow you to view the lake virtually uninterrupted. . The décor is rustic yet has a touch of class with many antiques and vintage items. You can't help but explore all the little extras that have been put into the house.
Just off the dining area and kitchen you will find three cozy bedrooms. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated with individual themes and has a comfortable full size bed. There is a Deer hunting room decorated with deer hunting in mind, Fishing room complete with a small vintage motor and many fishing tackle items and there is also a Duck hunting room for the avid duck hunter. There are two completely renovated and modern bathrooms. Each one has a walk in shower with glass doors, elongated toilet and vanity with storage.
Outside you will notice a patio with a nice fire-pit and additional sitting areas and an eighty foot boat dock with electric hookups for recharging your boat battery. Great fishing directly off the dock.
The house is located on Harris Break Lake and just minutes from Harris Break Wildlife Management area which encompasses 2788 acres including a 1,200 acre lake and a 800 acre green tree reservoir. This is where you can hunt for Deer, Bear, Crow, Quail, Dove, Rabbit, squirrel, Turkey, Duck, Geese and other furbearers.
Also nearby Lake Sylvia Recreational Area, Fourche Lafave River, Petit Jean Mountain, Ouachita National Forest, 5 miles to Perryville and only 45 minutes to Little Rock
