It has easy and convenient access to all the night spots and our local shops and restaurants. Great sunrise and sunset views. Blue Water Suite is located 16 steps above the Blue Water Café, which is a long time favorite with area and local guests. Enjoy an eagle’s eye view of fireworks over the harbor on the 4th of July and easy access to the Arts Festival and Fisherman’s Picnic. Centrally located to enjoy all of the great things that Grand Marais and Cook County have to offer. We ask that there be no pets and No Smoking. Check-out time is 11 a.m. and check-in is 4 p.m. Enjoy over 900 square feet of space. Guests must be able to climb stairs.

3. Have patience. Businesses are doing their best to provide services to visitors. Some communal amenities may not be open for use.
4. Be careful and practice extreme safety. As a small rural community, we have limited healthcare resources. In addition, be considerate of the fact that our Emergency Management Services and Fire Departments are all volunteer based. While our emergency services personnel are professionally trained and dedicated to keeping our community safe, taking an unnecessary risk puts these volunteers at increased risk.
5. Come prepared. With limited resources available locally, guests are advised to travel with what you’ll need during your stay like groceries or cleaning/sanitation supplies. Lodging facilities have increased sanitation procedures, however, it is advised to run your own sanitation protocol on high touch areas (like door knobs, light switches, etc.).
6. Stay longer. Why not stay awhile and get to know us better! Extending your stay will not only be beneficial to your mental well-being but it will also allow you to dive a little deeper and explore the wonders of our area.
