Summary: We just slept here, arrived late, left early. The young man behind the desk, Mohammad, was very accommodating, nice & friendly. The room is nice and big, long desk, love seat, vanity area, nice tub. However, there was an odor in the room. Most likely old cigarette smoke. Speaking of gross, there was 1 really gross thing. The fridge was a good size & was clean, but the little freezer area was YUCK. It looked like someone froze a coke and it busted. Probably just an over sight of the cleaning staff. Will definitely mention that upon check out. Also, the towels are very thin. All in all though, the room was very comfortable, the bed slept great and it was a pleasant stay.

Summary: Got to the property to be told my booking was supposedly canceled but there was nothing on my end through Expedia, and I had already paid with no refund either. The guy that the front desk said he had no rooms and my reservation was canceled and I should have my money back. But then I showed him it wasn’t canceled on my side.. he then proceeds to tell me he can show me one room he has and walks me to the room. It’s the exact room that I had booked, yet I was supposedly canceled.. the property only had this one room on the property that had a jacuzzi tub in the room.. he then says I could have this room but it would be $145 cash. I said why do I need to pay cash when this is the room I booked and I paid only $116 for it. He said 145 cash because my listing is canceled and their card machines and everything is apparently broke… I contacted Expedia to let them know what was going on and got my refund. Seeing as I was 5 hrs from home and all other hotels were actually booked I talked the guy down on the room and paid cash, but not until I made sure I got my refund from initial payment… the room was gross and dirty, exposed wires from lighting above the sink, the jacuzzi had the controls ripped out of it so it didn’t work. Their pool was now a concrete slab, two of the 3 lights in the room didn’t work. It reaked of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Just awful.. place is super shady and just gross! Will never stay here again

Summary: Although the property was undergoing renovations, this pales in comparison to the benefits that I enjoyed during my stay. You see, I grew up in Ripley, and trips home are bittersweet because my parents have gone home to be with the LORD
