4 Bedroom Cabin in Stratton
Cozy log cabin on 5 private acres with hot tub. 3-4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (please see note below). Sleeps 6-8* humans, with plenty of room for your four-legged family members. Just 7.3 miles to Mt. Snow, 9.4 miles to Stratton Mtn. and 7 miles to Green Mtn. National Forest. Secluded, but an easy drive to restaurants and shopping.
Rustic feel but with all the amenities: Direct TV, WiFi, Bluetooth speaker, Nest keyless entry, full kitchen, washer and dryer. Sheets, towels, soap, paper products and firewood provided, along with dog beds, and food and water bowls. Woof!
The cabin has two fireplaces, along with a firepit for nights out under the stars. There’s also a pitch and putt golf course and a pond, complete with frogs.
Please note:
- The stairways in the house are open, narrow and steep. The property may not be appropriate for small children or people with mobility issues.
- The cabin is comfortable, but more rustic than a hotel. We are in a rural area, near the woods, so you may encounter a mouse (or evidence of one), along with some spider webs.
- Because the cabin is in a rural area, we do not have trash pickup. We ask our guests to bring their trash to the town transfer station (open three days a week).
- The hot tub does not have a roof over it. That means our guests can enjoy the beautiful stars; it also means that the tub is open to whatever might be falling from the sky.
- *The lower-level family room, bedroom and bathroom are at a basement level. They're cozy in the winter, but can feel a little ... basement-ish in the summer. The good news: You don't need air conditioning there, regardless of how warm it is outside.
