Very nice cabin on one acre in the woods that backs up to state land that is accessible for hiking and biking many trails. Not a house in a neighborhood like most of Angel Fire, but a cabin on the mountain with fantastic views and only glimpses of neighbors. Peaceful and secluded, yet only five minutes from all the amenities of town.
Upstairs are the kitchen, dining and living areas, two bedrooms (the master with a king bed and the other with a queen bed) and two bathrooms. Downstairs are two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with two sets of twin bunks), a full bathroom with a shower and washer/dryer. The upstairs deck offers fantastic views of the Moreno Valley and unbelievable sunrises and sunsets.
The cabin is perfect for families, with space for the kids as well as adults. TV, books, and games are available.
Summer offers mild temperatures for all the nearby activities: golf, hiking, biking, horseback riding, rafting, kayaking, and fishing. Winter offers downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, sledding, tubing, and snowmobiling. Angel Fire Ski Resort is five miles away. Taos Ski Resort is one hour away, as is Red River Ski Resort.
NOTE: A 4WD vehicle is mandatory to access the property in winter and snowy/rainy seasons, and chains may also be necessary.
NOTE: Stairs are required to access the main floor and master bedroom level, which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.
NOTE: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
