The cabin is beside the lulling Fall River and surrounded by tall standing pines and aspens. Located less than a mile from I-70, easy to get to with the county-maintained, paved road all year round. It is only minutes away from hiking, fly fishing, rafting, and skiing attractions, offering a true mountain experience in all four seasons.
It is about 30 minutes West of Denver and Red Rocks Park and 5 minutes from Idaho Springs' historical downtown, museums, and Indian Hot Springs. It is 15 miles from the Echo Mountain Ski resort with night skiing and only 30-40 minutes from several world class, ski resorts (Winter Park, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain to name a few).
Outside, you will find the naturally maintained landscape, a "private island" in the middle of the river with plenty of seating space, hammocks, as well as gas and charcoal grills. The property is backed to the forest with two gold mine shafts offering a historic perspective of this region.
