Enjoy the beauty and serenity of Vermont year round at this peaceful and spacious home, a beloved and cozy retreat from the crazy outside world.

* Snowshoe the private, ungroomed trails that start right at the door.

* Ride your bike just down the road and access the Lamoille Valley Rail trail for a fun ride to Morrisville and the Lost Nation's Brewery or the Sunday brunch at 10 Railroad St. in Morrisville, or the other way to Jeffersonville and the Family Table.
*Back inside, pull out an old-fashioned board game to play with friends and family.

THE FINE PRINT:
We accept personal checks or bank checks (U.S. only) with payment in full due at least 30 days in advance. Credit cards accepted, but e-checks are preferred. Upon payment, we will contact you so as we can send you our Short Term Rental Agreement, which should be filled out, signed where indicated, and emailed back to us with a copy of the primary renter's photo i.d. within 48 hours of booking. Reservation is not considered to be “confirmed “ by us without it.

* The Vermont Treehouse is not ideal for young children, due to the layout/cliffside location. Additional liability waiver required for those with children under the age of 18.

Every season is truly spectacular here.
Near Stowe, Smuggler's Notch, and Jay Peak Resorts.
For cross country skiing, there is the Trapp Family Lodge (where you can also book a sleigh or wagon ride, depending on the season) and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center.
Convenient to grocery stores and shopping.
Pristine, private ungroomed trails meander through the woods for snowshoeing, hiking, or backcountry skiing.
Ride your bike just down the road to access the new Lamoille Valley Rail Trail or hike countless trails in the nearby Mt. Mansfield State Forest.
Many area restaurants available for a great meal.
Vermont has also become renowned for its wineries and microbreweries, so it is definitely worth taking the time to tour some of them!

"We had lovely stay in the Vermont Treehouse, one of the most architecturally fascinating houses I've seen anywhere in the world. All the amenities of your actual home are here, washing machine and dryer with detergent, dishwasher with soap, lots of towels, etc. rather than some places I've stayed that have amenities but no means to use them. Every traveller will appreciate the whimsy of this place, from the spiral staircase to the top floor, to the window seat up above. I highly recommend a visit, both for the serious skier and the casual vacationer who wants to visit the true Vermont.....Sandy, the owner, is just down the road and was easy to reach with our concerns (we had a fairly late arrival time and then ended up coming a day late). Also the wifi was blazing fast, fast enough to play online games.

We found everything we needed to cook meals between the grocery store in Johnson and the appliances and utensils right here in the kitchen. The hot tub was a pleasant reprieve after a long day skiing the slopes of Stowe and the roads were plowed swiftly after a night's worth of snowfall. We look forward to our next stay here!"
" We had an amazing time at The Treehouse! Dennis and Sandy were so helpful (it was snowing and we couldn't make it up the hill-they did everything they could to solve our problem). We snowboarded on Sunday, hiked the trails on Monday, and spent a day/night in Burlington, and recommend all those things. The hot tub was great after being out in the cold all day. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Vermont."
