Our lovely home features rustic décor, with all the amenities you could desire. You are just 90 minutes from the Twin Cities. The house is wired with high-speed internet for remote working! There is a well-stocked gourmet kitchen with double wall ovens, an induction stove, a microwave, a wine cooler, and an island with bar stools. Open to the dining room and a cozy seating area, with a spectacular stone, wood-burning fireplace (we do not provide wood). There is plenty of room for enjoying family and friends.
Off the kitchen, there is a large deck and a separate three-season porch, perched high with amazing views and stunning sunsets of Isle Bay on Lake Mille Lacs. You have full access to the lake through Castles Resort across the street, where you can fish off the dock, launch a boat, enjoy boat rentals, or just jump on a launch.
The first floor also features an ensuite bedroom with a king-sized bed, jetted tub, and steam shower. Perfect for relaxing on the chilly Isle evenings. There is a large living space for big gatherings, with DirecTV (full channel lineup, smart televisions for your own streaming service).
There are two more bedrooms on the second floor and a full shared bath with a tub and separate shower. The lower level of this home features an additional family gathering space with a television, ping-pong table and futon. There are two more bedrooms, one with a king bed, and the other with bunk beds. These have a full shared bath on that level.
In addition to the amenities at the Castles Resort, you are just across the street from Isle City Park where there is a playground and a sandy beach. You are also just a short walk (less than ½ mile) or drive away from Father Hennepin State Park where there is a large sandy beach, trails for hiking or in the winter cross country skiing or snowshoeing!
Come for an extra-long weekend (three-day minimum), a week, or enjoy a long-term stay (receive a discounted rate for two weeks or more).
