Take a break from the rat race at our cozy three-floor home nested on nine serene acres in Columbia County’s Old Chatham, NY. Set off any main roads, the tranquil property comfortably sleeps eight and features amazing views of the Berkshire Mountains, which you can enjoy from the wrap around porch.
Upon entering the home you're welcomed by a dramatic two-story stone fireplace and natural light-filled sunroom, a perfect area for daytime reading or nature-watching out the oversized windows. The first floor is completed by a large cook’s kitchen, skylit dining room, and half bath.
The loft makes a great bedroom and includes a unique collection of iconic advertising figures, plus ~250 DVDs that guests are welcome to use.
Downstairs are two en suite bedrooms with comfortable queen-sized beds. Set between the bedrooms is a TV room/bedroom with a queen-sized pullout and connected screened-in porch furnished with a ping pong table. A vast collection of books and board games are available for guests to browse and play.
Dish TV and Wi-Fi are connected throughout the house.
Step out and enjoy the fresh air in our spacious backyard, featuring a bass filled pond and room for grilling, badminton, frisbee, bocci, croquet, or a leisurely baseball catch (all equipment provided). AND A NEW PELOTON!!!
The property is an easy 2.5-hour trip from NYC: It’s located five minutes off the Taconic State Parkway and 30 minutes from the Hudson Amtrak station.
