From July 20th to August 21st, there is a 2 day minimum. After these dates, a 3 day minimum MAY be required so please inquire if you are looking for a 2 day reservation.
While swimming and fishing in the lake is not recommended, people have done it before if they're feeling adventurous or overly optimistic about fish. The water is shallow so the actively growing aquatic plants in the water usually reach the surface especially from May through August.
There is direct access to the lake from the property however there isn't a dock yet.
Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake so please enjoy the peace and tranquility. There is a canoe and kayak available for your use to go exploring around the lake. If you come in the summer, you will find a beautiful section of lilypads with the most amazing flowers.
This lake home on 1.5 acres in the woods feels like a private retreat. Soak in the hot tub, grill on the deck, or enjoy the fire-pit all while taking in great lake views and enjoying the surrounding nature sounds. You might even spot one of the resident bald eagles. Often described as a country home in the heart of the metro, the location cannot be better.
The house has 4 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms in the basement. The house also has a full bathroom upstairs, a full bathroom in the basement with a double shower, and a 1/2 bathroom on the main floor. There is also a queen size air mattress if needed.
Just off 494 - enjoy easy access to downtown St. Paul (10 min) and Minneapolis (20 min). This house will feel like a home away from home. Check in time is 3 PM and check out time is 10 AM.
For your reservation, it includes 4 guests and each additional person, even if just stopping by and not staying overnight, is an additional charge which is calculated when you finalize your reservation. The current additional charge is $30 per guest per day.
After you reserve the property, you will be provided the location of the house. Based on a few previous guests who have caused problems, I will need a list of names of anyone who will be on the property at any time during your stay, even if they are just stopping by. Each person is considered a guest for fee calculation purposes. Thanks for understanding.
There is NO SMOKING in the house. If there is any indication that smoking took place during your stay, $500.00 will be taken out of your security deposit.
I encourage you to purchase travel insurance so that in the unlikely yet possible event that something happens and you need to cancel your trip after the refund deadline, you can receive some of your costs back for eligible cancellations.
Pets are always welcome and encouraged at this property! There is a fee of $50/pet/day even they are not staying overnight. My rules for pets are that they are not allowed on the furniture and they must be kenneled if you need to leave and aren’t able to bring them with you. I also ask that you take care of cleaning up after them.
