It's a quiet lake during the week and an active one on the weekends. There are 5 waterfront restaurants/bars on the lake that you can boat right up to. If you want a day off the lake, take a tour of the historic Leinenkugel Brewery or visit Irvine Park Zoo. Both are just 10 minutes from the lake. Don't forget your golf clubs and bike. There is a public golf course on the lake and the area features great bike trails.
